I saw in another article somewhere that there was a phone # they were telling people to call "to report" other people ... While I'm all for safety, I think it is eerily close to communistic values to encourage spying on or reporting other people... Obviously I understand that you would want to call if someone was swerving all over the road and causing imminent danger to themselves or someone else .... However, what stops someone from calling and reporting on someone they saw in a bar, just because they don't like them? I think it is wrong to encourage reporting of others in this instance

Not trying to be rude here, but how on earth does it cost $100,000 to put a fence around some yard space? Like honestly what on earth costs so much? They keep saying "construction," but constructing of what?

If the city was going to spend around 1mil anyway to demolish it, why didn't they just spend that money to preserve the facade, which would have cost a little over 1mil?
