I am disgusted by the fact that the neighbor heard him crying, but I am not surprised. He lives in the old mill houses on fifth and they people that live in them are not the most outstanding people. Those mill houses that are on Fifth, Fourth and Lincoln are a cesspool in Struthers, very far and few between are taken care of and nice like Mr. Macejko's. I've met Mr. Macejko and his family which are well known and respected in Struthers. This is an outrage, this is a very populated area with generally paper thin walls. To hear an old man crying and to read what happened to him makes my blood boil. How can anyone hurt someone else let alone an elderly person? Eighty six years old and to live through this at that age when you can't defend yourself and just lost your other half. I hope that the scum bags that did this will rot ... or have someone beat them. How would they feel if this were thier grandparents?? Put up an award that will get the attention of the hoodrats that roam those streets..
The Chief will be missed! I' am a huge fan of Pat Bundy. Wouldn't mind Mike Leonard either.. I'd even settle for Tim Roddy. I'm not a huge fan of Tom Skovira. Should be interesting!

To answer your question igotsomethintosay ~ Did I actually give birth to a child No, do I have children Yes. As a child care giver I do agree it is probably one of the hardest things that a parent can go through. My neice died at the age of 6 years back and my brother (who was at work at the time) did not see his daughter until she was brought to the funeral home, and now that I look back I'm grateful he was able to say goodbye when that little angel was laid out in a beautiful casket surronded by rose petals. Reader ~ I never will resort to name calling and I expect the same respect from you if you wish to address me. We can differ on views but it takes it to a very intolerable level with names are thrown out. I was referring to when I said survivor that perhaps the family that was at the hospital with this young lady could inform the other family members, of course she must be traumatized so I wouldn't expect her to actually make the phone class herself. I can assure you that I am neither ignorant or heartless.
Mahoning County does not have the second highest sales tax in the state, Thank you for the correct information city_resident. I have no idea why the people are so negative. I pay taxes and I am voting yes for me, my family and this area. I don't want any more cuts being made today. I don't want any more departments shut down on a friday. I think there is an ugly bitterness and jealously issue here, instead of intelligent, educated votes. Instead of being miserable in this area, I choose to be happy I stayed and raised my family here. I want my quality of life to be as it is now. You have to support your area and that includes your goverment.
I don't think that anything was done wrong to have such an outcry. I'm so sorry for the families, but I think the anger that being directed at Dr. Kennedy is not necessary. He released a statement a month ago saying his office would not respond to traffic accidents over the weekend, the next business day there was no anger or public outcry then but there is now. Let's think about this logically.. this happened Sat around 5 am right.. so it was a little over 48 hours the family waited. I'm sure like I said that there were emergency personnel on scene who more than likely identified the victims, ran the plate on the car, there was one survivor who I am sure where in contact with the other parents. I'm sure the grieving process was already started.. shock, grief, tears. I'm sure the farthest thing from these families mind's were autoposys. The bodies were removed and placed at the morgue. I'm sorry for the families, but there seems to be a public outcry over not much here. A mountain out of a mole hole.. The residents of Mahoning County can not have their cake and eat it too, either you want services or you don't. Choose your poison wisely when casting your vote for the sales tax in May.
