The Pledge of Allegiance is an official government declaration that specifically specifies four things as being so un-American that no loyal American would support or participate in them.
Atheism (under God), Secession (Indivisible), Tyranny (with liberty), and Injustice (and justice for all).
That the government would put its atheist citizens in the same lump as secessionists, tyrants, and perpetrators of injustice is contemptible.
That anybody would think that atheists have an obligation to stand while the Government tells her that she is as despicable in the eyes of the government as rebels, tyrants, and the unjust is absurd.
