Common sense doesn`t seem to be very common. If being stopped for what you believe to be no apparent reason why escalate the situation? Why not diffuse the situation by being compliant and courteous? Putting the authority figure at ease makes sense doesn`t it? They are the ones with the gun.
I don`t understand. I think sometimes people want a confrontation. Taking a, “what right do you have stopping or questioning me?” attitude.
Police are coming into an unknown situation and are probably naturally on edge. If you aren`t guilty of anything, then you have nothing to worry about. Seems simple doesn`t it?

open and shut case. He should have been taken care of out back right after the trial.
Move on the next next case.

How about placing one where a Poland cop stops someone.

Two things I wonder.
1) How do the parochial schools measure up by comparison?
2) Does open enrollment play any part in the school districts success or what I believe, possible failure? Looking at Canfield and Poland, two districts that do not have open enrollment, they seem to be doing the best consistently. Boardman and Austintown, while not bad, are a little behind. As the inner city continues to flee to the suburbs, will the problems follow?
Boardman becomes the new southside of Youngstown, Austintown the new westside, Liberty the new north, and Hubbard the new east. Eventually the original Youngstown will be reclaimed by nature. :)

Exactly kensgirl. Involvement is key in every aspect of the children's lives. And not just academically.

Soccermama, my comment meant nothing against these girls. If they are good players kudos to them, and great job.
Speaking from opinion, if there is a shred of truth in what was mentioned of players, seniors, not going out, then there is an issue.
Let us assume for discussion sake that this is true. 8 seniors did not go out. Granted many of those who did not go out may have just felt there was more talent in the lower grades and didn`t think they would make the final cut. And I would believe that more so if that number was closer to 3 players. But to hear that possibly as many as 8 didn`t, well that is a little surprising. Which then points the finger at the program itself. Normally you don`t play 2 or 3 yrs only to drop out as a senior.
I just found out that Canfield volleyball has had 3 different coaches in as little as 5 yrs. Is that normal? I`m asking seriously as I do not know if there is a lot of stability for a high school coach. If it isn`t normal then again the question is, is there something wrong with the program itself?

Wow, sounds like there is more going on than what meets the eye over in Canfield volleyball, YOUNGSTOWN615.
For 8 players to quit the team, I would think there is something seriously wrong internally with the program. Perhaps too much focus on the twins and not enough on the team effort?
Regardless, I`m guessing an early exit when tournaments start.Championships probably aren`t won with just a libero. Unless someone is crushing the ball, all you are doing is keeping it in play for the other team to spike it.

So, if the KKK orders coffee in a business that is owned by a black person, the business should serve the KKK?
I wouldn`t blame him if he didn`t. I feel it was against the black owners beliefs.
His business, he could do what he wants.

You have the right to be a lesbian.
They have the right to sell to who they want.
Seems fair to me.

Example of how Youngstown looks to destroy instead of create.
And then one wonders why no one wants to live in Ytown.
A sincere "good luck" Mr. Carratt.
