Ashtabula County authorities converge on the Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville Thursday where they discovered the body of Robert P. McLaughlin, 64. Officials said McLaughlin, who was sought in Wednesday's murder of Stacey Sutera, 40, of Canfield, died of an apparent suicide.
Officers from Canfield Police Department, Mahoning Valley Homicide Task Force and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation were at Carriage Hill Apartments Wednesday after Stacey Sutera, a 40-year-old teacher, was shot and killed there around 7 a.m. as she got into her car. Police have issued an aggravated-murder warrant for Robert McLaughlin, 64, of Painesville, described as ex-military and armed and dangerous.
