Pothole List

Ah spring! 'Tis the season when young (and old) drivers' fancy lightly turns to thoughts of ... potholes. Your daily commute to work or to the store or to drop the kids off at school is no longer a routine task. No, you must learn keen driving maneuvers worthy of champion race drivers. You dodge left to avoid one hole and, then, right to avoid the next. Oops, the one in the middle caused your head to bang off of the roof of your SUV, which suddenly doesn't seem that big or as easy to drive. You could — and probably do — curse these potholes. You wish you had a better outlet for your rage. Now you do. Welcome to the "Pothole Patrol" at Vindy.com. Let the world know of the worst potholes you encounter. Add them here for all to see. Hopefully, those helpful cold-patch and hot-patch workers will take notice. And you could even win a prize.

Prizes for the Pothole Patrol contest include one of five $25 service gift certificates courtesy of Greenwood Chevorlet - Hummer.

I had saw a comment that said you moved your car to miss a pothole and end up hitting another one. I wish that was the case when you drive along Oak st and Oak st ext. Ive been living in this area for over 10 years and the streets just keep getting worse. I cant tell you how many holes there are. Its so bad drivers are now driving on the edge of the road almost in the ditches if something is not done soon Im sure there will be cars going into them ditches. I had just bought a new car and in the last month I replaced my muffler twice. Along with my fathers. Driving along this street is putting your life in danger. We contacted the engieer and they said We'll get to it in Aug. But how many cars must be damage until then. And getting to the store to buy food is now a hasle as taxpayers we should not have to deal with this. So travlers be aware when driving from Hubbard rd to the Pa line on Oak st When travling on Oak st from 616 dont be fooled that part was repaved about 3 years ago and is in good condition but that dont excuse the condition of the rest of the street. Tired of hole

I live in S.E. Ohio along Ohio River and let me tell you that it is a disgrace that Mahoning county roads are in the condition that they are. We were up over Easter Holiday visiting Mother inlaw and county line rd and RT 18 was just terrible to drive on. In the county Live in you cab drive 45 MPH on some gravel roads here and on RT 18 I would not want to drive over 4 MPH. Isn't Mahoning county one of the Highest taxed county in the state? there is no reason for the roads to be in the shape that they are. I understand that the winters there are bad but they make a cold patch don't they?
