if he is hired i hope he reads his own book and learns what integrity, honor, morals, and not cheating mean. what he did to that senior class at osu was sickening and seeing him hoisted up on shoulders was naeusiating.
Sickening? Nauseating? Naw, not at all. A little sad maybe, but nothing more than that. What was sickening was how those players had no respect for Ohio State or the Ohio State football program, or their teammates, or Tressel and their coaches, or their fellow students, or the fans of Ohio State. Now that was nauseating.
A primary responsibility of the modern university president is fund raising -- what many call "rain making." With Mr Tressel as president, the YSU coffers of such critical legs of the funding stool as endowments, funded chairs and research grants -- to name only a few -- soon will be overflowing. With such abundant "rain," sunshine quickly follows. It's been cloudy here for far too long.
Tresel who is a nice guy probably won't get the job simply because he doesn't have enough alphabet letters after his name...
Tressel would be better than any three other candidates put together because he is cognizant of the fact that higher education is about students winning, not professors that hit the "Tenure Lottery"
At least he knows how to win, a college professor's biggest win in life was getting their first job, everything after that is "Gravy Train City" "Free Education for Family Members" "Free Health Care" "Free Parking" "Free Cafeteria Food" "No One to Answer To" "Giant salaries for part time attendance in the classroom" all on the backs of the Students and their parents.
