from the beginning of time men have been the protectors and defenders of women. only 1% of the population fight our wars. so instead of initiating the draft, these gutless politicians want to put our daughters and grandaughters in harms way. so while women are dodging bullets at war, the countrys' men of the same age are pretending to play war on their x-boxes. this is shameless cowardice to let men hide behind the skirts of women at war!!
I think if you are equal then you are equal in all things .
There were a lot of Vietnamese women who could pull a trigger with the same devastating effect as any man. Don't underestimate them.
I recall back in high school we had this girl who was tuff as nails. She was nicknamed "The Wrestler". One day this kid makes a wisecrack at her and she gets him in a bear hug, flings him over the railing and down the front steps of our high school. I could see this girl with a machine gun and a war-painted face. For all I know she might be in Special Forces now. Not all women wear lace panties. This one wore burlap.
It is completely ridiculous to have women in combat. Captured women will be raped and the men left behind know that - making their capture trigger a different set of responses - detrimental to the military as a whole.
Do you not think that the women in the service know that there is a chance of getting raped.
it's said that women have a better chance of being molested and raped by their fellow soldiers than an enemy. i just hope that women are never forced into combat unwillingly. why would any woman choose this? and, by the way, when rape does occur they said that nothing usually happens to the man and the woman is bounced out of the service. sounds great, doesn't it?
The A holes in our admin knows not what they have done....the women will now have to sign up for the selective service, just like the guys....can't wait to see what the Muslim B*&%$TARD says when his girls have to sign up too.....It will be just wonderful to see that response....
When will people accept we are in the age where we are supposed to be equal in all things in the eyes of the law. It's taken me a long time to come to terms with that, especilly because we are not equal individually in our skills and abilitites. Next comes freedom of choice. Now that women are equal in the military, they now can choose to participate, or not. After all, it is a voluntary military system.
