Samarone was an idiot for not checking to make sure the pervert kitchen wa leaving her alone, hopefully McNally will nip this crap in the bud. Put Foley on it if he has to. Mcnalley won a pretty bad mayoral race winning over a pervert and a convict so he better realize people are watching him closely!

I think it is not so much that Sammarone was an idiot but just that he is a cagy old guy that not only new about this type of activity but thought it was sort of cute and what difference would it make since he is above all of this, or so he thinks.
Ms Hughes was disparaged by the mayor’s chief of staff right under his nose and the city should absolutely positively seek a settlement to avoid personal embarrassment any further.
Also she should sue them both personally if that is possible!

What is all of this law suit business?

Another money grab because some thin skinned individual could not put a few comments in their place and ignore the rest.

coming from Joe the extreme right winger. No wonder the GOP has an image problem with women. I'm sure you follow Rush's advice about what to do about staring at women's breast too. He suggest you approach the woman and ask her to have her breasts stop looking at him.

@ dontbeafool:
Did Rush actually say that?
I'll have to keep that in mind.

Thank you!

Yep, like you don't listen to the show.
That link or google it for a hundred others. Maybe if a man acted appropriate towards a lady, they wouldn't be in a lawsuit situation. Some guys think that they are at a bar when they are at work.

You're correct, bars are the place for a lot of that behavior. Even there, a lot of guys just don't display proper behavior toward women.

The work place should be devoid of it totally but it does occur.

My point is that a lot of folks just want to draw their law suit gun and shoot from the hip. There is too much of that these days.

The old saw about "stick and stones" seems to have gone by the wayside.

Well Joe, I agree that there are a lot of lawsuits these days. With that being said, how dumb do you have to be to sexually harrass someone at work? Not only do it, but leave a paper trail, texts, voice mails, etc... Sure the first time, I think you should say, "hey knock it off", unless it is touching, but if it continues, then the person being harrassed needs to report it to their supervisor. If they don't rectify the problem, then sue.

You're right about leaving evidence trails these days. People apparently aren't aware that so much of their communications do not evaporate after the "delete" button is pushed.
