Cambridge, I'm with you on the Giants, but, I would rather watch Fox News (America's most watched cable news) than the garbage on MSNBC.

This poll is so out-of-whack with any other polling. Either the Vindy poll has been "gamed" or it just establishes that the on-line readership is Republican by a 5 to 1 ratio.

5 to 1 is not representative of our community by anyone's measure.
Have to conclude that the poll participants are not representative of the community.

Curious that in this die-hard Democrat area, there are relatively few political signs for the Obama-Biden. If you were a Democrat who decided to vote for Romney, would you admit that to anyone, even a pollster?

Anyone in the middle class, as well as all women or minorities who vote for Romney and Ryan are voting to move their lives backwards. Roe v. Wade and Obamacare will be reversed within the first year, the wealthy will get wealthier, teachers, police officers and firefighters will see their ranks further diminished and the middle class will be decimated by the off shoring of more manufacturing jobs. And maybe worse, Romney will have us at war around the globe. There is no doubt, if he is elected, Romney will revert to the social conservative and hawkish platforms that won him the nomination. President Obama is the only choice for those who believe in social justice, a balanced approach to reducing the national debt, and the return of our troops from foreign lands.

Rae, and All Democrats

As a staunch Democrat I can’t allow our leaders to keep on misleading us and trying to dupe me. I have seen firsthand how they President and the Democratic party is truly attempting to divide the county with every issue possible as trivial as it may be. Don’t allow the democratic machine keep on duping us.
Both parties have differences in opinion on abortion and gay rights etc. etc.
What I want is very simple and it doesn’t have anything to do with 99% of what are president is talking about in trying to divide us by class. We are all Americans, we will have difference and be able to debate them logically, but I for one would rather debate these issues while having a JOB!
Mr. President, it is all about, JOB, JOBS, JOBS, and you have failed us! The only jobs that you created have been with bean counters continuing to add up the public debt….. Now at over $16 BILLION
I WANT A JOB!
You lost my vote Mr. President- and Yes, it is time for a change. After 25 years of blindly voting down party lines I for one am breaking the chain of dependency, not only in Mahoning County but also voting republican locally and nationally.
They say that the definition of a moron is someone who does the same things over and over and expects different results. I for one am Voting for Mitt Romney.
Changing for being unemployed to getting a JOB! By a business man that has the track record that will give me a far better chance to find one.

Vote- Mitt

CBD.....When Obama took office the country was losing 700,000 jobs a month. Now it's adding more than 100,000 a month. That's is 800,000 jobs turn in the right direction. More than 5 million jobs created in the last 30 something months. If you want to go back to bush's policies, to the extreme then by all means vote for romney.

This is a fact check from CNN dated 09/05/12 about Obama's job gain:
http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/05/politic...

The facts:
While a total of 4.5 million jobs sounds great, it's not the whole picture.

Nonfarm private payrolls hit a post-recession low of 106.8 million that month (Aug), according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The figure currently stands at 111.3 million as of July.

While that is indeed a gain of 4.5 million, it's only a net gain of 300,000 over the course of the Obama administration to date. The private jobs figure stood at 111 million in January 2009, the month Obama took office.

And total nonfarm payrolls, including government workers, are down from 133.6 million workers at the beginning of 2009 to 133.2 million in July 2012. There's been a net loss of nearly 1 million public-sector jobs since Obama took office, despite a surge in temporary hiring for the 2010 census.

Meanwhile, the jobs that have come back aren't the same ones that were lost.

Are you better off?

According to a study released last week by the liberal-leaning National Employment Law Project, low-wage fields such as retail sales and food service are adding jobs nearly three times as fast as higher-paid occupations.

Conclusion:

The figure of 4.5 million jobs is accurate if you look at the most favorable period and category for the administration. But overall, there are still fewer people working now than when Obama took office at the height of the recession.

AND, the EYE-POPPING figures of the real unemployment story directly from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website:

76....are you actually saying that the jobs lost before he turned it around are on Obama?

The first three months of the Obama administration job losses averaged 738,000 a month because job loses the last three months of the bush administration averaged 651,000 a month. Are you actually saying that was on Obama? To try and spin it like that is pathetic, but typical.

Cambridge,

Time to wake up. Obama is running for re-election, not Bush. Obama has had his chance to "change" and "hope" has run out.

You stated: "More than 5 million jobs created in the last 30 something months". Spin as you wish. "But the U.S. economy is still down 400,000 jobs over Obama's tenure".

Read the CNN fact check link again. http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/05/politic...

Keep drinking the koolaid about his plan to make the rich pay their "fair share". The total wealth of the the top 400 wealthiest Americans is 1.7 trillion dollars. Even if we take away ALL of the wealth, it does not make a dent in the deficit. Obama has borrowed more than all of our previous presidents. The democratic wishes of bigger government cannot be sustained.

We do not have the luxury of allowing more on the job training time before our ship is sunk.

Over 80 percent of the rich are small business owners. If you work for a small S-corporation, which file a K-1(corporate earnings added to their personal tax return) a tax increase will leave less money to invest in company expansion and/or hiring new employees. If you are working for a small business, ask the owner if they are a S-corporation.

The unemployment numbers do not take into consideration the people who have stopped looking for jobs.

Therefore

Using this number as Obama accounting would like you to do, what they want is for everybody to just stop looking for work!
Period!

Then the unemployment rate would be Zero

That’s the democratic party today the Obama way now… Stop looking for work, we will take care of you and unemployment will be at 0%

Come on… aren’t we smarter than this ???

Obama's numbers might be better if he had more voters.

Take his own black community, over 50% of that population aborted since 1970. Of the remaining 50%, we have 25% male who are incarcerated at an alarming rate and in many states stripped of voting rights.

Who else do we have?

Perpetually entitled urban welfare lot. 10% of population tops. They tend not to vote nearly as much. Many have one disability or another where voting may be prohibited or as alleged, their paperwork or registration to vote may not be current.

Jews. Maybe 5% of the population. He's managed to alienate them with his stances on Middle East and Israel's role in the region. US interference has swaths of the Middle East up in arms ready to fight anyone. Bad for Israel big time.

Gays. Maybe 5% of the population. He still has that faction on board.

70% of votes are cast by white folks who resonate with the American Dream and the middle class. Obama has parroted racism his whole term while running on this platform of bridge building and equality. So he wasn't as advertised. Whites living the dream fled cities between the 1950's and 1980's due to instability of poor masses and raising minority behavior problems. Lots of these folks have lived through one race riot or another and can recall watching that on television. So the race issues manufactured by the Whitehouse are just disturbing to them as are the angry urban fake supporters like the Obama Phone lady and the rest of the deadbeats who think Obama is going to pay their rent and give em freebies.

Middle class folks who are mainly by number white or identifying as white has been pounced during Obama's term. If they were spared, they know plenty of friends, family and neighbors who were not. They've seen inflation through higher prices of commodities. Less buying power and fast increasing prices on many items (food, gasoline, electric, etc.). This is while credit lines were revoked and their saving net 0%, or actually lose value when inflation adjusted.

Obama is dropping the middle class white vote like crazy. That is going to be what causes him to lose.

He should lose based on his utter failure record and for lying his hind end off in this campaign. 5 million jobs created. Yeah right. GM saved? How about $21 BILLION of that bailout going to China to open GM China plant. Dumbos around here won't be happy until your role as a consumer is outsourced too.

Like we said with Bush, ANYBODY OTHER THAN OBAMA.

You people who continue to blame Bush for a current problems don't have a clue. All you are doing is repeating what some news media moron said. Bush nor Obuma made the world economy go bad. It was the oil companies and their greed which still continues on. However Obuma has made the US economy worse because athe only drilling going on is on private land. He has made it harder for drilling in the gulf and has stopped the Keystone pipeline from being connected up in the US and has almost doubled the defict since lying his way into office by voters who don't know any better.
