Why does the Vindy assume everybody supports any moratorium on injection wells? Kinda presumptuous, isn't it?

There should no moratorium at all. Ask the Arabs and Saudi's if they support a moratorium. We are our own worst enemy always have been!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hint, it doesn't produce any gas or oil.
I support a 25% hazmat fee at the consumer level for all natural gas and motor fuels. Our safety for its use needs to be addressed.
I think they should ban fracking but continue with the old tried and true wells where water is pumped underground to release the natural gas but it is not high pressure water that will fracture the shale, bedrock etc. like in fracking. You may need more wells per acre but it is safer that way than fracking.
I agree with Hagen this time if he's out to question the fracking wells.
300, you are correct in that injection wells do not produce oil/gas BUT if you listen to the general public they are also cunfused on the drilling. Most DO NOT know that "fracking" is only used in the oil/gas wells but blame fracking for injection wells.
With this type of mentallity the USA will never drill for their own oil--anywhere in the USA. What a shame that ignorance dictates!!
Opening the earth up below a depth of two feet should only be allowed with a special permit and an environmental impact study. We need to stop the madness that exposes us to unknown minerals, metals and radioactivity.
