Do you believe the U.S. will become involved in a war with Iran?

With McCain singing "...bomb, bomb, bomb,... bomb-bomb Iran..." four years ago and now aircraft carriers being sent into the Persian Gulf with Obama at the helm and all the neo-con republican presidential candidates picking up where McCain left off (save one candidate- Ron Paul),... it sure looks that way to me.

They're all for PRE-EMPTIVE WAR.

They're all, including apparently the majority of Congress, willing to yet get us into another war which will require us to BORROW MORE MONEY FROM THE FED in order to fund it thus digging us further into debt. (Obama wants to increase the debt ceiling by another $$$ 1-2 TRILLION $$$... HINT, HINT...)

They're all simply faithful servants to their masters who own and control them.

Their masters pull the strings that they willingly allowed to have attached to them and then they do their masters' song and dance...

Their masters are the ones who are calling the shots and starting all these pre-emptive wars.

It's all part of their masters' plan.

I'm sick and tired of being the world's police. It's time for other countries to step up and contribute. Our country is imploding from within and wants to borrow another 1.2 trilllion! We really need to resolve the issues we have in house.

So, if they get the bomb, have they said they'll use it immediately on Israel? They presumably understand the idea of mutually assured destruction that has worked for other nuclear armed countries, like the U.S. and Soviets during the Cold War, as well as Pakistan and India today. Why wouldn't it work with Iran?

As a lower middle class everyday Johnny "apple pie" American Citizen, I fear more $4.00 per gallon gas than I do a nuclear Iran!! Politicians who continue to ignore what the impact of high gas prices have on lower income families, and the speculators on the market that over speculate on the future price of oil are no different than a Terrorist! Yes, thats right, I said terrorist!! They are killing the middle class!

@ djicey, I agree with you. We have so much oil now that we can export it. Isn't an american goal is to become self supportive with energy? Why are we exporting our oil instead of using it to bring prices down?

Iran has no Navy, airforce, army to speak of. What are we afraid of? Invasion on the backs of camels? Isreal is doing a good job keeping Iran from developing nuclear bombs. Didn't they receintly assasinate their 5th nuclear scientist in Iran? Go Israel!

The US does not need to attach Iran. If it does happen, we should not just attack but occupy the entire country and take over the oil fields. That would pay for the last few wars we have been in and nobody helped pay for.

The American people should be tired of paying for world security and receiving no thanks.

Iran might just make a great homeland the the Jewish nation.

From what I hear we do not export oil we only export gas and diesel fuel that is made by the 1% ers who about to take over the country . So ladies and gentlemen hold on to your %SS because who are about to get it

If we end up in a war we should hit them and hit them hard. NO soldiers on the ground. We know what sites to hit. Just do it and be done with it. I am not for war, but if we have to, it should be quick and decisive.

They are setting the stage for WW3. Don't be so blind and naive. Since Iran and Russia basically share borders, they will undoubtedly take each others sides. Pakistan will also choose the side of Iran. Once that happens, China will step in as another major power in the Middle East.

We don't need to be the world police. We have spent countless Fed notes on foreign wars, especially ones that have never been declared through Congress (Libya, Pakistan, Egypt - You know we have boots on the ground).

As James S. said, these people in office, especially the king of welfare and current dictator of the United States a.k.a. Barry Soetoro, are puppets in the grand scheme of things. We need a revolutionary, someone like Ron Paul who is a constitutionalist and believes in freedom.

As for the subject of domestic oil, our country hasn't tapped into our reserves yet because they are saving it for the long term preservation of our land. Think about it, once foreign oil has been compromised and the supplies have diminished, we will be the only country with reserves to supply the world.

We would have had more power if we didn't sell our gold that was once held in Fort Knox and let the Federal Reserve take over our currency and basically sell our freedom to the Bank of America = China

Obama would not go to war with Iran BUT he would bow to the Arabs and tell the world how bad the USA has been.HMM??
