This congress SUCKS, they have no idea of compromise and helping the American people. They just want to kiss the muslims a$# and pretend to care about America.

The teabagger/republicans will stand in the way of anything Obama wants to do to help this country and the middle class. They don't want things to get better they want them to get worse and hope that Obama will get the blame. They are counting on America being as stupid as they think it is. I guess we will all find out in 14 months but in the mean time they will vote against anything Obama wants to do.

cambridge, this guy has had the congress in his hip pocket for the first 2 years of this administration and has gotten nothing right on the economic front. The teabaggers and Republicans were voted down on anything to do with governing for two years, wakeup and realize this guy is a socialist and has to go for this country to survive in the real world.

georgejeanie....The teabagger/republicans answer is the same it has been for the last ten years. No regulations and less taxes for the wealthy and most profitable corporations. The results of that agenda speak for themselves.

bush and the republicans inherited a budget surplus and the formula for paying off the national debt and their tax cuts and deregulation produced the worse recession since the great depression in only eight years.

Some how you seem to think Obama should just wave a magic wand and it will all be fixed. I'm not the one that needs to wake up, I see the facts very clearly and have a very good recall of the history of the last ten years.

You guys have not a clue as to what your talking about. I suppose you think its a good idea to raise peoples taxes when we pay way to much already. Its a stupid idea that is only doing one thing and thats making an imposter president look good. Most people aren't fooled and in 2012 he can bend over and kiss is tail goodbye.

One other thing you don't have a clue about is that the Tea Party is made up a lot of different people. I am a lifelong Democrat a veteran of the Armed forces of 26yrs and I wouldn't walk across the street to see this man. He is an embarressment to the United States of America. I am also one of the few working people in this country and the few of us that are working cannot afford to keep the unemployed. If you really want to put people back to work make taxes fair across the board where eveyone pays the same and get gas back to a dollar a gallon which is what staarte the world economy to go down the toilet in the first place.

Our current administration's plan is to spend, spend and spend some more to "stimulate" an economy that is nearly flat-lined. Giving away 500 million dollars to a corporate political donor named Solyndra (who took the money and then went bankrupt) is such a slap in the face to hard working Americans.

Idiots, complete and total Idiots!

Solyndra went bankrupt because they could not compete with the Chinese subsidized solar industry and the same thing will happen with wind turbines and any other industry they want to control.

It's impossible to compete with government subsidised industries if your country isn't doing the same.

It's just like the Japanese government subsidized auto industry. You people disparage your neighbors who are union auto workers and cheer on the Japanese plants in America who pay substandard wages and benefits. Besides being subsidized by their government these companies pay union wages and benefits in Japan and other countries they have plants in even including China. The only country I know of where they don't pay union wages and benefits is the worlds newest third world country, America.

As long as people like you who call "green the new red" and consider a word like "progressive" a negative, America will continue to lose industries and the jobs that go with them to countries that actually have a vision for the future.

I wouldn't vote for it either. I don't want anymore taxes taken out of my checks. We pay way to much already.

Actually taxes are lower than they have been in more than 50 years.

For those of you that don't believe Solyndra was overrun by Chinese subsidized technology read the article in the link below. I know reading this will be a challenge for most of you because it's four pages long as opposed to a Fox News thirty sec.sound bite but do your best.
