why would you want to play football in a war zone?
Academics first, then athletics. That's my opinion whether the school is in the city, suburbs, or out in the rural areas.

they can't afford to play at YSU. It cost like 5,000 dollars to rent YSU. When you only draw 50 at 6 dollars, that's like 300 dollar plus all the other costs such as cops, ticket sellers & takers. It costs a good 6,000 plus to have a game at YSU
Plus----they are not wanted at Stambaugh it looks like or it would have been offered long before this date.
its just bad money after bad. It does not matter if its in the city or not. No need to do it just like when some years ago Boardman wanted to build a 1.4 million dollar cafateia at the Center Middle school that is over 60 to 100 years old. (first built 1911, last addition 1954). Why spend that kind of money at a building that old. Why spend 3 million in a neighborhood that will not protect it or support it.
