lol the league as a whole lost $300 million this past season. it's a joke of a league. the nhl is 1000 times better.

Nothing But Arrogance...
Many of these players earn more money off their royalites from endorsements of shoes, clothing, cars, etc., yet they still want more money from the owners than the owners get.
Continue the stonewall...end the season and go to work at Ford or GM or Chrysler and find out what it's like to put in an 8 to 10 hour day, 5 to 6 days a week and really work for a living.
Or they drop their guns at the airport TSA check points. What great role models they are for our kids.
Dimebag...I just thought of something...most of them don't have degrees anymore. Maybe that is why the league is such a mess now. Owners giving it up for uneducated teenagers.
I saw Magic Johnson on TV the other day commenting on the NBA and he mentioned that he earned a little over $400,000 per year when he was at the top of his career. Now the average salary is over $4 million per player!
Quite honestly, I've never watched a professional basketball game in my life, either in person or on TV. And I'm not a spring chicken, either. It's one of those sports to me that's only fun when I'm playing. I don't care how much they get paid, it's a boring sport to watch (to me.)
Give me football, soccer, golf or almost anything else. I've even watched bowling!
