Yes there is, get tougher with these wanna be gangstas and have 0% tolerance for these animals.
And quit with the good jobs, you have to have a desire to want to work, pass a background check, pass a drug test and you can't start at the top, you have to start at the bottom. Any JOB is a job, whether you like it or not. There are jobs but do you really think they want to work? So tired of that excuse!

Hood rats haven't been shooting anyone.

How old are you Hoodrathunt? You've got to be well over 50 or so, since you don't seem to understand what the term "hood rat" means.

Don't use words you don't understand, it makes you appear uninformed.

Why would a thug want to toil away at McDonald's for minimum wage when he sees all his buddies making the big bucks dealing drugs? I also agree with the poster who said they shouldn't be let back out on the streets so quickly especially when they have multiple priors. And if a gun is involved, there should be no bail allowed, period.

Hoodrathunt, nice attempt at justifying your use of the term "hood rat." I'll give you effort-points, but what really happened was the following:

1. you want to use a term that is as base as possible to describe people you loath. Since you're not up to date with the proper terminology, you employ the label "hood rat."

2. I call you out because you're obviously misusing that term.

3. You look up the real meaning of hood rat, realize that you've been misusing it.

4. You attempt to make a round-about argument about hood rats being the original cause of these shootings (even though your words were about "these hood rats shooting...")

The point of this is that if you don't know what a word means, don't use it. Would you call a "mick" a "guinea?" Then try to say that it's all the same because they share a common religion, and thus spiritually, they're all the same?

If you don't know the difference between a gang-banger and a hood rat, then I doubt any of your ideas are very relevant, since you don't understand the society.

I agree with you, hood rats are a problem. I'll admit, that I used to enjoy a hood rat every now and again back in the 90's (along with some of those guineas and slavics from Struthers). They're only good for partying, and only while they're pretty young before they get worn-out and diseased.

If you want to continue misusing words, go ahead. But, my advice would be to try to include some people under the age of 60 in your conversations, so you don't sound like some misinformed pensioner who's got no idea what's been happening since the 70's.

Disgusting display of humanity in here. People like hoodrathunt ARE the problem. Racists who would round people up and kill them. There's a name for people like that. NeoNazis.

Keep watch on your neighborhoods instead of complaining nothing is being done. If you see a crime being committed then call the police.

More job opportunities and a change in PA's gun laws. This nearby state needs to outlaw its gun show loophole. At these events it's permitted to sell a weapon without a background check.

Sorry truth, I'm as pro gun as the next guy but criminals DO get guns from gun shows. Maybe not the majority, but prohibited persons do buy guns at gun shows.

We continue to pay for children having children, we (taxpayers) give them free housing and food stamps and money for tattoos, cell phones, drugs and alcohol, don't expect them to attend school then we wonder why we have problems with guns, violence and low performing schools? Then we expect the schools to "raise the kids" instead of educate them. So long as we give people something for nothing we will have social; problems, too many safety nets, political correctnesss is killing the country.
