LMAO.. Yeah I doubt 92% of this area would say it is over considering we have been in a recession for DECADES. Would love to know who is hacking these polls.
"Are you a victim of those who strive to keep you frightened?"
A victim? Not quite, Not something I'm proud of but I spent time in the prison system and have a felony and was just released a year and half ago. Not sure how old you are, reports or not, but your going to tell me you feel safer then you did say 10 years ago?
1. Do you still lock your doors at night? 2. Do you avoid rough areas in the community? 3. Do you lock your car doors when running into a store? 4. Do you have a home/car alarm? 5. If you have kids, would you let them walk home at night?
Spend some time on daily crime sites, or read the daily newspapers around the country instead of a spreadsheet that comes out once a year and has estimates at times.
Time are now good cuz "The Democrats" tell us so ? So now we can afford hefty tax increases ? Taxation beyond the outer limits defines today as prosperity because tomorrow misery will be on a much larger scale . IT'S ALL GOOD BECAUSE THEY TELL US SO !
Of course !!!! it is over for the Rich And we are going to vote them back in power . Enjoy your tea in the food line . But BG we get the black guy out.
"Lists of crimes does not provide valid data that crime rates are up." "Crime really isn't "rampant," as you say."
Not debating if crime is up or down, debating crime is still a "major" problem and if you think otherwise your living in a fantasy world. Read a paper from anywhere in the U.S. and on the front page, 9 out of 10, there will be a article on a crime.
Anyone can come up with the definition of when a recession starts and ends, so I'll throw mine out there. When an honest, hard working person can get a decent wage, then the recession is over. If not, we're in a recession. With the national unemployment rate almost double what it was 10 years ago, I'd say we're still in a recession.
The Mahoning Valley has been in a recession almost continually since the late 70's, but other parts of the country are recovering. You can't base any economic recovery statistic on this area. It repels jobs instead of attracting them.

Vindy.....If you can't figure out a way to limit the number of votes a person makes you shouldn't be running a poll.
Just ask the question and forget about the poll part and we can get right to the insults and bias rhetoric.
86% what a JOKE.
Isn't the "excuse" crime is rampant because there are no jobs??
Amazing people think the recession is over just like that.
The Quail,
Maybe come November when the Democrats get their butts annihilated you will realize America does not believe we are out of this recession.
Growth... watch the unemployment rate the next few months as it trickles back into double digits...
The stimulus did NOTHING.

"You truly are safer today than you ever have been . ."
You really believe that?

"Why do you feel so unsafe?"
Did I say I feel unsafe?
