The coroners complaint was no weekend support. There are 3 on staff. Have they never heard of a rotating shift? Tuesday thru Sunday shift? It's not rocket science ya know.
I am leaning more and more on voting no on this bill.
Sixty one grand a year spending money for doing nothing is good . We should reelect him and give him a raise . He has been doing a fine job not allowing any work to interfere with his spending of the sixty one grand .
@Quail- Your comment comparing Dr. Kennedy's actions with those who you call tea-partiers has no correlation whatsoever.
They cut his budget because revenues are down- so he refuses to open the morgue to give some greaving parents an opportunity at closure after the loss of three young people.
How does that compare with a large group of citizens tired of seeing their freedoms disappear and more government interference in their lives? With elected representatives ignoring the will of the people and voting more tax and spend programs we can't afford, a healthcare plan that was ill conceived, and a domestic policy that is a dismal failure.
This is the 1st generation that has left this country in worse shape than when we received it. I shudder to think what the future generations will think of us as they are saddled with trying to pay off the mountains of debt that this Congress and Administration has heaped upon them.
The 1/2% sales tax is all about Tax & Spend by the county officials. They have not cut the overgenerous pay, healthcare, or pensions of the county employees sufficiently yet while still paying the employee share of PERS for many county employees. Vote NO tomorrow so they get the message - CUT Tax & Spend before you ask us for more money. Everyone needs to tighten their belts like those of us in the privates have done.
Sky King - oh I loved 310's - they were very cool airplanes. Guess there are still a few around. More fun to remember them than making a comment on this tax stuff. It never ends......
Well it passed. It will be a cold day in ---- before I give a penny to the county that spends the way they do. They forget we live next to PA, Columbiana and Trumbull county. I will spend my money there until they can prove they can live with a real budget.
