Yes. I have yet to attend one, though that may change tonight, but I feel more aligned with the Tea Party on fiscal issues than I do with the Republicans or Democrats.

The question really reads:

Are you a proponent of a responsible and effective Federal fiscal policy, and a tax model that stimulates private sector job growth?

For those that voted no...do you support high taxes and unsustainable debt?

There you have it. Anyone who wants to know how these teababbers think or what they are about should just read the posts from the USEless1.

He does a excellent job of representing them and how they think plus you won't get confused by infiltrators trying to make them look like some nut.

Just remember that when you vote republican you vote the same way they do.

Cambridge and PenguinBird,

I'm more interested in reading your thoughts on the consequences of raising taxes on job creation, or the benefits of increasing the national debt by $2,000,000,000,000.00+/18 months. Surely you have something more to offer this conversation than ridicule...right?

BTW PenguinBird, the KKK was formed as a radical arm of the Democratic Party during Reconstruction. If you wish to have a separate conversation of the history of racism in the Democratic Party, I welcome it.

Nonsocialist....What ridicule? The poll question pertains to the Teabagger movement and I'm referring people to the areas biggest player in the movement.

You do believe he's a perfect representative of their movement don't you?

As far as the national debt is concerned I guess you forgot who got that ball rolling. I've said it before, if you burn the house to the ground you can't rebuild it for free. Obama is dealing with the hand he got in a way different than the republicans that drove the economy into the ditch.

I believe the path the country is currently on is a much better one than the one the Republicans had us on when Obama took office.

As far as taxes, i don't recall you ever commenting on Bush's 1.6 trillion dollar tax cut for the top 5%, companies like Exxon who make 35 billion in profits and pay no federal income tax, or an unnecessary tax payer funded trillion dollar war in Iraq, or an .8 trillion dollar unfunded gift to the drug companies under the guise of a drug program for seniors.

Bottom line is the Democrats and the Republicans have completely different set of values and thoughts on who the government of this country represents.

The Bush tax cuts made the tax code more progressive (it favored the low income earners). See link below.

Regarding spending under Obama, it far exceeds the crazy spending under Bush 43. A quote from IBD:

"In all, if Congress approves his current budget, Obama's deficit spending will total $3.5 trillion for the first half of his first term. President Bush's deficit spending totaled $2.9 trillion. In other words, Obama's deficit spending for his first two years in office will exceed Bush's deficit spending for his entire eight-year presidency."

Much of the Obama spending has been for pork projects with little or no intended impact on job creation.

The biggest crowed in the country was Boston because of Palan being the headliner. 5 thousand. The Indians draw more than that on the last day of the season.

Nonsocialist....The difference is that Bush and the Republicans spent money wrecking the country and the economy and Obama and the Democrats are spending money trying to fix it.

A perfect example is how Bush and the Republicans just wanted to give the banks and Wall Street almost 800 billion on his way out the door with no strings attached and no payback. In stepped Obama and the Democrats and they made the money a loan with conditions. A lot of that money has been paid back and the Dems are on their way with reform for both the banks and Wall Street to keep this from ever happening again. The Republicans are against any reform.

Last March the DOW was 6,500 and now it's over 11,000.

Like I said, the Reps and the Dems have completely different philosophies on the role of government. You have your opinion and I have mine. It's America, we don't have to agree.

We are all losers. How blind can America be? Divide and conquer has been the MO of our political fathers long before HW Bush declared the new world order and before Clinton signed away our manufacturing base with Nafta. If they keep us fighting amongst ourselves Joe Public is totally clueless as to what is really going on.
Independents,Republicans,Democrats, Teaparty it really does not matter as long as we continue to attack and put lables on each other.
I have a few things everyone should ask themself.
1) If we are the only country in the world that has everything we need to exist why are we the only country being losing our standing in the world? This did not start with Obama we have been on a downward spiral through the last 5 Presidents
2) Was bringing down the iron curtain worth creating Osama Bin Laden?
3) If we are so concerned about terrorists why have we failed to secure our borders?
How blind can America Be?

America has declined since FDR used the Great Depression as an opportunity to institute long term socialist policies in what was once a land of liberty. Paying people to not work, and punishing hard work, will cause any nation to decline.

Political parties cause false divisions between citizens and divert the loyalty of politicians from country to party. Political parties need to be abolished. George Washington was correct to express concern about them.

Additionally, class warfare policies such as the progressive income tax also divide Americans. "Don't worry, I'll give you money that others have honestly earned...just vote for me!"

Shameful...utterly shameful.

Indeed you are correct.

Wilson left Harding (a fellow Ohioan) a huge government bureacracy, huge debt and high unemployment. Harding cut taxes while reducing the Federal debt, and unemployment plummeted. The roaring 20's ensued.

I find the parallels between Obama and Wilson compelling. Both have narcissistic personality disorder, both so-called academics, both favored a huge federal bureacracy, both too vain to realize or care about the damage they caused.

Thanks for the feedback. A pilot perhaps?

I researched the attendance for the 9-12-09 DC rally, and I cannot find any reliable figures. As you know, the National Park Service hasn't released crowd estimates since 1995. I've seen some very impressive aerial photos of monstrously huge crowds, claiming to have been taken during the rally, but obviously I can't vouch for their authenticity.

In short, I don't know. Whatever the figure, it doesn't change any particular dynamic.

Perhaps your true concern is the size and influence of the TEA Party movement (see link). We'll have to wait until November to see. I personally can't even guess their impact, but I will say this, regardless of the results of the election, I don't see a happy ending. The house is too divided.

Well to me it matters. We just finished eight years of lies that almost wrecked this country. Conservatives live their lives in such fear that they will believe in any boogie man put in front of them. The Republicans and Rupert Murdoch know that and take advantage of you with it every day.

Obama is part of a fifty year conspiracy to take all the money from the people that work and give it to the people that don't. As soon as he gets all their money his death panels will have them killed It started when he was born in a hut in Kenya and some people planted fake birth notices in the newspaper in Hawaii and made fake birth certificates almost fifty years ago. He has never gone to collage, he has never taught law, he is only a terrorist that wants to destroy America.

That's what these people say and people like you think it doesn't matter because no matter how ridiculous it is it's OK because you want it to be true.

Well you know what? I'm going to call BS every time the USEless1 or any other of his little buddies lies and I'm going to post proof of his and their lies and I'm going to continue to challenge them to back up what they say or I'll expose them for what they are every time.

Being a force for truth is a good thing. But I think some truths are more worthy of your time than others. In the end, it doesn't matter how many attended what function, or how many held signs, or how many wore bowling shoes.

You're right to point out deception, which is why I've listed some of the broken promises (inaccurately called lies) from the ruler of the People's Republic of America.

-No lobbyists in the administration.
-No tax increase for incomes below $250K.
-Earmark Reform
-Signing Statements
-Iraqi timetable

There are so many others, like recognition of the Armenian genocide, but I believe that the point is made.

I volunteer to work on your campaign for elected office.

Your post is amusing, but it's been said that in all jokes, there is only a drop of joke, and the rest is all truth.

The plan you referred to was short lived because it was a complete failure. When it was obvious that this plan didn't work the state dumped it as it should. If it doesn't work get rid of it.

The original comment by MrsRupp was "Hawaii's health plan was abandoned 7 months into it!" That statement is completely false. Hawaii's health plan has been in effect since 1974 and is more effective at a lower cost to it's citizens than any other state in the country. Their plan should be used as a model for the rest of the country.

The formula for success is to scrap what doesn't work and stick with and improve what does. That is exactly what Hawaii has done.

6. When asked a ninth question at a press conference, do you reply, "Come on! I just answered, like, eight questions."

7. Do you say things like, "Israel is a strong friend of Israel's"?

8. Mathematically, it makes sense to expand the national debt with turtle tunnels, swine odor research (Harkin pork...literally!), gang tattoo removal, covered garages for bicycles, cricket removal in Utah, red snapper research....you get the idea....unless you have OZD.

You say 2.1 million. Why don't you post one of those sites and prove what you say?

I don't go to tanning salons but you and John Boner will just have to deal with it.

I don't drink soda but I guess you and those fat pigs with their 40 ounce big gulps will just have to deal with it.

It's my understanding that since those things are unhealthy the idea is for the additional tax will help pay for the health care plan.

Come usa0 pro-teabagger,why are wasting your time trying to convince me
you teabaggers are not Republicans.Hank, your movement spewed forth from the bowels of the Republican establishment courtesy of DICK Armey,GOP lobbyists and the insurance industry.Did you check the Politico.com article? Of course you didn`t,because you don`t deal in facts but farce.
Why even bother us rational people with your questions about socialist nations? We don`t live in one and will never live in one. This all exists in the minds of you fringe teabaggers, birthers, deathers, oath keepers and your other assorted domestic terrrorist pals.

You need to keep facts straight there Hank,I never posted anything about "who cares" if you teabaggers are a political party. When you destroy yourselves through your sheer lunacy, hypocrisy and stupidity, you will ooze back into the bowels of the GOP once again. It takes more than wearing a flag covered leather coat to be a "patriot". By the way, your boy Nixon used price controls before Carter was elected but nice try. What,no comment about your idol Ronnie Reagan rasing taxes on you SIX times in the 80`s. I guess you teabaggers loved that huh? LOL.Hypocritic fools!

usa0 pro-teabagger hahaha,ok so Reagan had to raise taxes 6 times because of Democrats? Good fantasy but from what I recall the tax raises were the result of a failed economic plan called "voodoo" economics.lol.I think you should check with Reagan`s former budget director David Stockman before you try to absolve the Gipper from blame.
Speaking of the Gipper,I wonder how he would react to you teabaggers and all your drivel? According to his own son,Ron Jr, he would be appalled at your cabal, especially the hate for our commander-in-chief.I didn`t agree with Reagan politically but I was angry as an American when he was almost assasinated and wished him a speedy recovery. Now of course, we see the signs at your bagger rallies wishing nothing but harm and hate towards our leader.Hmm,I wonder what your reaction would be?
Why would you be afraid of me? I`m not a wingnut that may fly off the handle at any moment. Why is calling you teabaggers juvenile? Do I really need to waste our time pasting and copying all the different names you call Obama,Pelosi or the other bloggers here? I didn`t think so.By the way,I came up with bowels, all on my own but thanks for the kudos. It seems like an apt description.
You hope we can meet? Already have amigo, already have.
