Omar Provitt could go the distance any where on the field,Terrence Graves average 10yards per carry 2 years in a row with 54 touchdowns second only to Clarrett 60 tds in Steel Valley history Sean Patton ran like Gayle Sayers 7.8 yards per carry 42 TDs and Delbert Fergerson played like Eddie Geroge avg 8 per carryy with 48 touchdowns they where all great players,I would put up any of their numbers against any of your picks.
I am not sure why Maurice Clarett is the obvious number one. His body of work is pretty lack luster on the whole, what with him being in the penitentiary and all.
There are 2 current NFL players on this list, 2 former NFL players, and 1 current NFL prospect. There are guys with Super Bowl rings on this list and yet Clarett tops the list without a vote?
I understand his prep career was dazzling, but let's be reasonable.
That may or not be true, but Clarett is a bum! And a stupid one as well.

Clarret was the most prowerful and fear runner I ever saw but there where some great runners that ran with speed and great vision such as Mooney Steve Johnson,Rayen Sam Crewshaw was a stud at receiver.Kid from Struthers who played QB Rick Mcfadden was also great.
The best high school players i seen where Marcus Marek and Eddie Pryts...Pryts played quarterback and linebacker and Marek was a big hitter...
Even though I am a Cowboys fan and never a big fan of him,how could this poll exclude Bernie Kosar?
How can we forget Anthony Floyd an Antwaun Floyd boys from Chaney great great players.
Sean Penny from Ursuline was such a hard runner that he would wear defensive lineman down and then go on defense and play linebacker.

Alfie Burch- Warren Harding, Mike Archie-Sharon, Lorenzo Styles-Farrell, Andre Coleman-Hickory were all great players who are not on the list either.One of the best ive ever seen was Billy Altman from Farrell and he was heavily recruited in 1990. Altman wasnt a thug or trouble maker but unfortunately he diddnt focus on the after high school aspect
