If Dr. Webb should be dismissed, should not also the Board of Education be replaced? They are the ones that hired her, so they share equally in the failure of her administration.

She would be on the radar of the WORST Superintendents in the United States.

She is TERRIBLE. Get Rid of Her Now!

Not only should she be fired, with no severance, but also be banned from seeking a similar position elsewhere. The fat cat positions should all be in jeopardy.

Since their educational system failed them now we have a whole generation of kids doomed for failure .

Did anyone ever evaluate Dr. Wendy Webb's scholastic achievements ? What were her previous accomplishments ?

She can probably and most likely should be fired but it will be with severance. These people usually make sure that the severance portion of their contracts are iron clad. They can not fail, they get paid whether or not they are successful in their job.

There are lots of attorneys in this town that would love a piece of that lawsuit.

Be interesting to know what the background investigation of her consisted of. Of course we never will. That might bring up more questions!

Getting rid of Webb is not going to solve the problem. They are so far under now it wouldn't help.
Why such BIG NEW SCHOOLS.??
WILSON MIDDLE SCHOOL BEING BUILT IS
BIGGER THAN THE OLD Wilson High SCHOOL.!!!

This is what you get with an Affirmative Action hire ... incompetency at all levels.

I'm willing to bet that the 27 people who voted yes went to Youngstown schools and didn't understand the question.

When you accept a position such as Dr. Webb, you must expect the consequences if your district regresses.

With that in mind, Dr. Webb's target goal should have been improve, improve, improve, or I'm gone. Her salary does not justify being a caretaker superintendent. Pro-active management includes putting the burden on the school board as well as administrators. Sitting back and watching the system fail is not an option.

Voters need to remember their school board and the system's record come election day.

wendy webb is the worst superintendent in the state of ohio if not the united states. it does not take a rocket scientist to see it is time for her to go. she ought to be ashamed of herself for collecting a paycheck and doing nothing for the youngstown city school system.

Shes a liberal so she has always taken a paycheck for doing nothing.

Come on you cheapskates! The Youngstown Public School System has great potential. Just throw even more of your hard earned money at it and it will fix itself. You people are so greedy, share your wealth. What right do you hard working taxpayers have in wanting to keep your own money? Cancel you cable tv; do you really need that cell phone? Stay home more, drive you car less, ride a bike, walk whenever possible. Demand the government raise your taxes, bring yourselves down to the level of the poor, dopers, losers, the lazy. How can you capitalist pigs stand yourselves?

It is time to shake the education tree up from the top down to teachers. Then it is time to shake up the parents.

I did not go to Youngstown City Schools but I have earned 2 degrees since graduating Girard High. The long odds are that Dr. Webb is not the problem. In order of importance and significence the problems are: Parents, parents, parents, the NEA, the Federal Department of Education, teachers unions, and the community. Working on those will go a long way to improving our children's education and will keep reasonable people busy. Incidently, I live in Youngstown and believe we should all be concerned.
