Well it broke 8000 yesterday getting as low as 7880 or so.

I think we are nearing the bottom, maybe 7000 as support? There is my take and my 2 cents, thats all I have left!

Listen up folks. There's been numerous recessions and depressions in the history of this country and you know what? After each and every "disaster" including the Great Depression of 1929 which in some parts of the country lasted over ten years, the economy and the stock market came back. And it came back stronger and stronger. So despite all the fear the politicians are using to scare almost everyone during this presidential election, regardless of who our next president is, the economy will be back. Does anyone think either candidate can guarantee they'll not have a slowdown or a market correction in their 4 or 8 years? President Clinton had ups and downs, President Bush had 7 years of low inflation, low unemployment and many consecutive quarters of positive growth. So a slowdown or a market correction was to be expected. In fact this isn't about President Bush's "tax cuts for the rich", this slowdown, market correction is worldwide, he doesn't set policy in other countries.
What voters should be worried about is learning enough about each party and their candidate to make an educated choice on election day. Where do you want your tax dollars to go? How much will my taxes go up?(BTW, your taxes have come down in the last 7 years). Who will be in the White House advising our next president? Which party more closely resembles socialism, which party promotes personal resposibility, not looking for the government to support you? It's okay to help the needy, it's not okay to create the needy to expand your voter base. There really should be a test taken before a person is allowed to vote. I also like the idea one town is using, during debates the politicians be hooked up to lie detectors.
America is the best, things always work out for the best.

This isn't an economic slowdown. This is a disaster. This was caused by pure greed by CEOs rapping and pillaging and the United States government looking the other way.

I want someone in the white house that is going to spend taxpayer dollars on taxpayers.

"he's a...he's a...A-rab!" 08!
