Clinton didn't resign so why should Dann? Cheating on your wife is a pre-requisite in certain political circles. All hail Dann and his big brain.

I was actually being facetious, but I applaud the anger.

Resign now for your party's sake. If you don't; expect to be destroyed by the Republican candidate in 2010.

Of course he should resign but not because he cheated on his wife. If cheating on your wife means you lose your job, then half of the men in America would be unemployed. He has shown a complete incompetence in hiring people with integrity and integrity is what you want and should demand in the AG office. You can't run the AG office like a frat house and that's what this group of incompetents did.

Contrary to his own opinion,Dann is not doing a "great" job. He lives by "do what I say,not what I do". He and his friends are sleeze balls and creeps. If he cared at all for the State and the MV,he would resign immediately.Once he resigns (or better yet impeached),he should do us a favor and go back to Cleveland-he doesn't deserve to live in this community anymore(and take the 2 sleeze balls with him). What an embarrassment!

Where to start? Disappointed...very.
What I understood from Atty Betras...Dann doesn't need surrounded by "yes" men...he needs a puppetmaster?

Traficant did something for the valley? Selling his soul to Hastert for 26 million in white elephant dollars is doing something for the valley? Hmmm, I still can't figure out what Traficant did for the valley other than embarrass it and make us the laughing stock of the nation. Amazing how people can make this claim.

I will agree Marc Dann has desicrated the office of AG. I do not feel this warrents his resignation. This practice he choose to partake in was on his own time. Now I know the majority of you will say how "Sinfull." But lets also look at some others in political office. GWB a few years ago he said someone had WMD's. Then we invaded to liberate the country. Then we find out there were never any WMD's found. Well in my opinion one is just as bad as the other. One had a extra-maritial affair, the other is just a plain liar and has never been able to tell the American public the truth.

Marc Dann not only had an affair with an employee (which I guess in this day and age is considered ok) but even more disturbing to me is how he managed the Attorney General's office. What a disgrace. It had to have gotten really ugly there for it to erupt into the public eye. If you were hired to do a job and then failed miserably, would your boss "give you a second chance". I highly doubt it. You would be out and someone who did have the ability to do the job would be in. As a taxpayer, I expect to have qualified people on my payroll, not the old cronies that are usually "given" the jobs for political reasons.
Funny how we have lowered our expectations of what we should get for our tax dollar . . . some arrogant flunkie who was no more qualified for the job than my dog. Its also interesting how many of these low-lifes come from the Youngstown area. Are we so used to political corruption that we will allow this kind of thing to continue to soil our reputation? Come on Youngstown, lets clean up our act and get rid of these vultures. They have dragged us down enough!

"let him without sin toss the first stone". Marc Dann. What has he DONE for OHIO? I wish all I had to do was throw stones at people.
Jim Traficant? How can you devils say anything about Jim? Take a ride downtown. EVERYTHING there, Jim Traficant had a hand in making possible.
Marc Dann made mistakes, but look at everything he has done for Ohio and also for the Youngstown area.
If all of the "old" public officals who are now dead were still alive, the Vindicator would have to put out a special edition on everything they did wrong.....and what they did RIGHT as well.
leave attorney Dann alone. This will straighten itself out. The good that he's done will outweigh the bad.

If I had not sinned myself, I would cast the first stone.
Life will go on, just another day @ the office.

Is he a bad family man yes, but thats not his job. Obviously hes our attorney general because he knows how to do his job. The man has major flaws but at one time most thought he was the best for the job, so let him do that job.
