Reasons for running I would like to continue to use my over 23 years of experience, leadership and networking that I have provided the Warren City School System. I believe in continuous improvement, and I will strive to insure an excellent learning environment for our children by providing extremely qualified educators and staff. I will continue to monitor and reduce costs, while maintaining the highest quality eduction for the students of Warren.
Priorities Provide personnel and essential tools to increase academic performance
Increase graduation rates and decrease drop out rates
Support and work with community organizations (i.e. Inspiring Minds, United Methodist Community center, Valley Counseling, COMPASS, and others) to assist with after school and summer learning programs (including preschool)
Maintain relationships with Ohio Urban Commission and National Organization CUBE
Work to insure passage of a renewal levy
Qualifications23 years experience on the Warren City Schools Board of Education.
10 years as a Warren City Schools representative to the Trumbull Career and Technical Center
Served as an advisor and/or board member of numerous organizations within the Mahoning Valley
Appointed as a member of the Governor's Education commission
Member of the Ohio State Education Advisory Council

Parents of students need to be involved and interact with teachers and administrators
