Reasons for runningVoters should have a choice. In my opinion, this district has not had a strong leader or advocate in Columbus and has suffered because of it. With an experienced leader such as myself, I believe Ashtabula, Trumbull, and Geauga counties can thrive and provide a bright future for its residents and businesses. I am not a career politician; I am a middle class citizen who is concerned about my community and my state, and believe I can better represent District 32 in Columbus.
Priorities 1. Reduce regulations that harm jobs, businesses, and local communities
2. Reduce taxes for residents, workers, and businesses
3. Increase educational opportunities for new and reentry employees so residents and families can stay in NE Ohio
QualificationsI have over 25 years of business experience. Served on Chardon Planning Commission for 5 years; Chardon City Council for 3 years.

Worked with 10 NE Ohio Chambers of Commerce, as well as business and elected leaders for 5 years.

Chardon Tomorrow Economic Restructuring Committee member.
Positions on the issues We need to reduce burdensome government regulations and taxes which are both key to making Ohio competitive so that businesses will stay here, expand their operations, and also to attract new businesses and encourage entrepreneurism.

We also need to promote the emerging energy industry which has the potential to create thousands of jobs in Ohio and help to make America more energy independent.

I will work with local businesses and leaders to promote JobsOhio in NE Ohio and to invest in job training programs to get people back to work and prepare us for the jobs of the future.

I will fight to repeal Obamacare which will hurt small businesses, making it too expensive to create jobs.

Our young people need a better future so I plan to work with schools and businesses to make sure we are providing them with the training and education they need to have good job opportunities and promising careers right here in NE Ohio.
