Reasons for runningTo continue my service on the court and also continue to facilitate literacy and civic education through the Court’s High School Hearing program and my personal efforts through professional and public service.
Priorities Continue the court’s effort to digitize the appellate process within the budget and technology parameters (relative to the number of annual appeals) of each of the eight counties the court serves. Digitization enhances the efficiency of the transmission and filing of the record and briefs, and can produce a cost savings for litigants, the clerks of court and the 7th District.

Positions on the issues This question is not readily applicable to the Court of Appeals race. The professional and personal record of judicial candidates are evaluated to assess: 1) their ability to fairly, impartially, competently and independently consider each case before them; and 2) their judicial temperament. How a candidate conducts themselves in their personal and professional life, as well as how they conduct their campaign is an effective way for voters to assess both qualities, especially judicial temperament.
