Positions on the issuesSome serious issues facing Ohio:

1> spending growth over the last 4 years is in excess of 25% while many Ohioans are out of work or flat line in pay increases over that same period.
2> Medicaid is 52% of the general fund and given that level of financial expenditure, we need to look at why the quality is so low, costs so high, and what are the contributing factors and address them.
3> Better environment for business where business are given the clear guidelines to respect the rule of law regarding health, welfare, and safety but are not penalized with endless relentless and arbitrary dictates from regulators.
4> Candid look at promoting advanced technologies and realistic job creating industries and not crony handouts that both parties seem aptly capable of passing out.
5> Extension of USC Title 42 to include not just law enforcement, but all members and layers of the public sector.
6> Reinstate the sunshine laws, open records, and create a whistle blower protection that's the best in the world.
Those are just a few.
