| Reasons for running | I believe that it is time for me to step up, and bring 28 years in law enforcement, and 7 years of successfully running a police department to the county level and solve the problems of the Sheriff's Department. I am non political, don't believe politics should be involved at the Sheriff's Department, and therefore want to eliminate them from the Department. |
| Priorities | To eliminate unneccessary expenses within the Sheriff's Department, thus freeing up money to add staffing to the jail. Establish saturation patrols to reduce crime. Develop and build a working relationship with all of the county communities, local, state, and federal agencies, the judicial system to help accomplish the above stated priorities. |
| Qualifications | 7 years as Police Chief; all 7 years managed the department budget successfully; kept crime low; developed relationships with patrolmen and other departments to successfully execute my duties as Chief. dare officer for 5 years; served on the Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force; Mahoning Valley Crisis Response Team. |
| Positions on the issues | I believe the most relevant issue today is the budget issue facing the department. I will look within the department first ie.. eliminating unnecessary expenses, capturing seizure money, then look outside the department, to solve the budgetary problems of the department. |
