Wellsville, OH
Columbiana County Sheriff
I feel it is time for me to take my law enforcement career to the next level, which for me would be becoming the Columbiana County Sheriff. I feel with all my years of Law Enforcement experience and training I would be able to make a major contribution to the Sheriffs Office and to all the residents in Columbiana County.
Over 22 years of Law Enforcement experience. Over 7 years of correction experience. I have had very distinguished administrative training, including FBI training. Excellent communications skills which I believe would be very helpful in the sheriff's position.
Funding / Staffing / Jail / Funding: I want to obtain Fed.& State grant funding to help off set my budget short falls. Staffing: If able to secure Fed. & State grants I will be able to increase road patrols, and the Detective position at the Sheriff Off. Jail:The Columbiana County jail is currently being ran by a private company. I feel if the Col. County commissioners turn the jail back over to the sheriff to manage, I feel with my correction background I will be able to manage the jail effectively and efficiently from day one.
Work hand and hand with the Columbiana County commissionersto adequately funding the Sheriff's Office and seeking as much grant funding as possible, so we can increase our road patrol and the detectives division so more calls can be answered in a timely manner and more investigations can be completed, including the unsolved murder cases.
Mr. Soldano states he wants to take his law enforcement to the next level. As the chief of Leetonia taking his career to the next level would include working law enforcement in a City that has more than one patrolman on duty at a time. He should apply for a job in Salem as a patrolman and prove his ability and then he may be ready...Being a Chief in the thriving metropolis of Leetonia doesnt qualify anyone to be sheriff...
