Anthony's reasons for seeking office:: To continue to see that this community grows and prospers, by making sure we have a county government that is fully functional, running in the black, and is responsive to the needs of the community!
Anthony's qualifications:: Sitting County Commissioner for one full term (2005-present). Elected President of the Board four consecutive years. Chairman of the Green Team Policy Committee for four consecutive years. Spent a total of eleven years working for the 17th Congressional District both in Washington, D.C., and in the District. Businessman (self-employed), and previous Instructor in Sociology and Criminal Justice at YSU.
Where Anthony stands on the issues:: Continue to work with the Sheriff, and the City of Youngstown to maintain the current staffing levels at the jail. Continue to push for a consolidated 911 plan for Mahoning County. Continue in the evolutionary process of Oakhill, by moving more county agencies into the facility.
Anthony's priorities if elected:: Ensure responsible spending of taxpayer dollars, and fight against the special interests and status quo of county government. Consolidate County agencies to Oakhill.
