Dale's reasons for seeking office:
Hello, my name is Dale Virgil Blanchard and I stand for a stronger U.S. Economy and a stronger Economy here in Northeast Ohio. If elected to Congress I will propose, promote and support legislation that will:
1. Increase the number of jobs in America and in Northeast Ohio;
2. Increase wages and salaries of American’s workers by increasing the demand for Labor;
3. Reduce Federal Budget Deficits and Balance the Federal Budget, providing more capital for business expansion;
4. Utilize the Federal Tax Code to encourage Americans to invest more, providing more capital for business expansion;
5. Utilize the Federal Tax Code to encourage American businesses to expand their operations and output of products;
6. Expand Trade, providing more markets for American products and more products for American Consumers;
7. Localized Federal Reserve Board policies that will promote investments in slow growth portions of America such as Northeast Ohio.
I support Social Security Reform in order to preserve the system for Baby Boomers and future generations.
I support improving education including more funding of public schools and more school choice for parents.
Finally I support expanding U.S. energy production as well as energy conservation.

Dale's qualifications:
While attending Cleveland State University, Dale Blanchard received a well rounded education, especially in Business Administration disciplines. But the subjects that grabbed his interest the most were Economics, Money and Banking and Business Quantitative Analysis classes. In those classes Dale Blanchard learned about the American Capitalistic System; how government actions can encourage businesses to take actions that will to expand the size of the American Economy faster or slower; how Federal Reserve Board policy can help expand the American Economy and help stabilize prices; and how businesses make decisions on setting prices and determining optimum production output levels. Dale Blanchard believes that this knowledge places him or any Business School major in a far better position to represent Americans in Congress than any Lawyer who lacks Business School training.
But in addition to possessing knowledge of Business and Economics, a good representative in Congress must possess Good Character, Honesty and a Basic Desire to want to Help his Fellow Citizens.
Dale Blanchard is a Born Again, Bible Believing, Son of the Living God. In short, he is a Christian. In addition to what being a Christian is to all Christians, Dale Blanchard’s faith has shaped his character and life’s objectives of wanting to help others in other ways.
First, Dale Blanchard has learned that God has an unconditional love for all of us. God wants what is best for all of us, no matter how much we love him or disappoint him. Dale Blanchard wants the best for all of us as well. Obviously, Dale Blanchard is limited in how he can improve the lives of others, but he does know that the best way to help to improve the lives of as many Americans as possible is to Grow the American Economy faster. When the American Economy grows faster, the Standard of Living of the American People improves. Dale Blanchard wants to improve the Standard of Living of all Americans, whether they agree with him or not; whether they are Democrats, Republicans or Independents; whether they are Poor, Middle Class or Wealthy; and whether they live in Rust Belt or in other regions of the country, Dale Blanchard wants to improve their Standard of Living.
Second, Dale Blanchard admires Jesus Christ for his total dedication to the concept of the truth. Dale Blanchard learned that sometimes people will love you for the things that you say and other times they will despise you, even to the point that they will want to kill you. But when Jesus was faced with persecution, he remained dedicated to the truth. Dale Blanchard too will remain dedicated to the truth. Sometimes Dale Blanchard will say things that some people may want to hear and sometimes Dale Blanchard will say things that some people may not want to hear, but that they need to hear. So since people need to hear these things, Dale Blanchard will always tell the truth to the best of his ability.
Dale Blanchard wants to be your friend. This does not mean that Dale Blanchard wants to be your buddy, but rather Dale Blanchard wants to be your friend. The difference between a buddy and a friend is that a buddy will tell you things that you want to hear, but a friend will tell you things that you need to hear.
Most successful politicians are successful because they are buddies to a majority of their constituents. They are very good at telling people things that they want to hear, but they fail their constituents by not doing what is in their best interest. Dale Blanchard, however will consistently tell you what you need to hear. And if that means Dale Blanchard will not win an election, so be it! If a candidate is being truthful with the voters, it is up to the voters to support that candidate. If the voters select the buddy who will lie to them by telling them that they can receive rewards without any sacrifice just to get their vote and reject the friend who tells them the truth, then this shows the character of the voters and the voters will receive what they deserve.
Dale Blanchard has good character and has no problem with voters who expect their representatives to have good character. But Dale Blanchard in return expects voters to exercise good character. When voters exercise good character, they select better representatives. And once Dale Blanchard is elected to office, he will do what is in the best interest of the American People.
Where Dale stands on the issues:
I AM RUNNING FOR CONGRESS IN ORDER TO PROPOSE AND SUPPORT LEGISLATION THAT WILL ACCELERATE THE RATE OF GROWTH OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY. I BELIEVE THAT THE BEST WAY TO IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF LIVING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IS TO INCREASE THEIR INCOMES.
BUT JUST AS IMPORTANT AS GROWING THE OVERALL AMERICAN INCOME IS, ENSURING THAT AMERICANS AT ALL ECONOMIC DEMOGRAPHIC LEVELS MUST BENEFIT FROM THAT GROWTH IS JUST AS IMPORTANT. YES IT IS TRUE THAT OVER THE PAST 7 YEARS DURING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, THE AMERICAN ECONOMY HAS EXPERIENCED MODERATE GROWTH, BUT AMERICANS IN THE LOWER 60% INCOME LEVELS HAVE EXPERIENCES VERY SLOW INCOME INCREASES. THIS IS BECAUSE THE REPUBLICANS HAVE IMPLEMENTED POLICIES THAT HAVE INTENTIONALLY REDUCED THE DEMAND FOR LABOR IN THIS COUNTRY. THIS HAS LEAD TO LOWER INCREASES IN WAGES AND SALARIES. I WANT TO REVERSE THAT AND INCREASE THE DEMAND FOR LABOR SO THAT THE NUMBER OF JOBS IN THIS COUNTRY INCREASES FORCING AMERICA’S EMPLOYERS TO INCREASE WAGES AND SALARIES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO RETAIN THEIR WORKFORCE.
FINALLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I WANT TO INCREASE THE DEMAND FOR LABOR IN THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN AREA. FOR MY ENTIRE ADULT LIFE THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN AREA HAS FAILED EVERY YEAR TO ATTRACT IT’S SHARE OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTMENT CAPITAL. THIS IS WHY OUR POPULATION REMAINS STAGNATE AT BEST WHILE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY GROWS AT A 12% RATE EVERY DECADE. THE ECONOMY IN THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN AREA IS SO BAD THAT NOT EVEN ILLEGAL ALIENS COME HERE. WE NEED A LEADER WHO IS GOING TO CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE OUR ECONOMIC PROBLEMS AND THEN IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS THAT WORK. OUR ECONOMIC PROBLEM HERE IN THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN AREA IS NOT FOREIGN TRADE AS MOST OF OUR DEMOCRATIC POLITICIANS CLAIM, BUT RATHER IT IS THE PERCEPTION THAT WE HARBOR A HOSTILE LABOR ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS WHAT KEEPS ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTMENT LEVELS HERE DOWN AND THIS PERCEPTION MUST BE ADDRESSED AND CHANGED. IN THE MEANWHILE, WHEN ELECTED TO CONGRESS, I WILL PROPOSE LEGISLATION TO HAVE THE FEDERAL RESERVES MAKE AVAILABLE VERY LOW INTEREST RATES FOR LOANS TO COMPANIES THAT INVEST IN SLOW GROWING PORTIONS OF THE U.S. SUCH AS THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN AREA

Dale's priorities if elected:
MY TOP PRIORITY WILL BE TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTMENT IN NORTHEASTERN OHIO.
IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THIS POLICY, I WILL WORK TO CREATE A RUST BELT CONGRESSIONAL CAUCUS. ITS MEMBERS WILL INCLUDE ALL OF THE CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS OF OHIO, MICHIGAN, PENNSYLVANIA, NEW YORK, INDIANA, ILLINOIS AND MEMBERS OF CONGRESS FROM ANY OTHER SLOW GROWING PORTION OF THE U.S. THIS RUST BELT CAUCUS WILL BE DEDICATED TO PASS LEGISLATION TO DIRECT THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK TO MAKE VERY LOW INTEREST RATE LOANS THROUGH AMERICA'S COMMERCIAL BANKS TO COMPANIES THAT INVEST IN PLANT AND EQUIPMENT PURCHASES IN SLOW GROWING PORTIONS OF THE U.S. LIKE NORTHEAST OHIO. I BELIEVE THAT THE FED WILL BE ON BOARD WITH THIS PLAN BECAUSE INVESTING IN SLOW GROWING PORTIONS OF THE COUNTRY WILL NOT BE INFLATIONARY BECAUSE OF THE HIGH LEVEL OF UNDER EMPLOYMENT AND UNDER CAPACITY THAT WE SUFFER FROM.
I ALSO WANT TO LEAD THE WAY FOR NORTHEAST OHIO TO ATTRACT MORE ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTMENT HERE. WE MUST END THIS PERCEPTION, WHETHER TRUE OR FALSE, THAT NORTHEAST OHIO HAS A HOSTILE LABOR ENVIRONMENT. THAT PERCEPTION REPELS ENTREPRENEURIAL INVESTMENT HERE AND IS THE LEADING REASON WHY WE IN NORTHEAST OHIO HAVE REMAINED STAGNATING WHILE THE REST OF AMERICA HAS CONTINUED TO GROW AND PROSPER.
