Christine's reasons for seeking office:: I feel that I would be an asset to the Liberty School Board based on my education and experience.
Christine's qualifications:: I have thirty-two years in the field of education, twenty-two years as a teacher, and currently in my tenth year as an administrator. I understand the demands/requirements of being a teacher and administrator. My experience of working in urban districts will enhance my understanding of issues that Liberty may encounter in their district.
Christine's priorities if elected:: My top priority as a member of the school board would be to create fiscal solvency in the district. Trying to keep the students that are currently in the district is part of that solution. Liberty needs to continue to market the district, involve parents in marketing endeavors, continue the progress on the state report card, continue to bring in grants that enhance the education of our students. Furthermore, additional cuts may need to be made without impacting the quality of education for our students.
