The Silver Lining Cancer Committee is gearing up for its Springtime Fashion event, The B’s, at 1 p.m. April 6 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The Women’s Committee for Children’s Concerts is finalizing preparations for the young people’s concerts for grades one through eight on April 10 at Powers Auditorium. Director Randall Craig Fleischer and the Youngstown Symphony will present “Bach to the Future.” The music repertoire begins in the Baroque period and advances to modern, living composers. Video footage of students singing will be edited and uploaded to the Internet.
