SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Austintown Lions Club recently delivered 4,000 pairs of eyeglasses to the Uniontown Lions Club Recycle Center, where they will be cleaned, analyzed, screened and made available to the needy worldwide. Austintown Lion Glen Ringer, left, and Uniontown Lion and recycle representative Paul Ruley exchange boxes of eyeglasses. Various Lions clubs accept donations of prescription, reading and sunglasses with plastic and metal frames. Children’s glasses, especially, are needed. For information or to donate glasses to the Austintown Lions contact Bob Melcher at 330-793-2107.
