SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The South High School Alumni Association will celebrate its 40th anniversary June 13 at A La Cart Restaurant, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The featured speaker will be retired Federal Appeals Court Judge Nathaniel Jones, from the class of 1945, plus a welcome from Dick Bennett. The federal courthouse downtown is named after Judge Jones. The 1954 class will celebrate its 60th year, and the 1964 class will celebrate its 50th year. All graduates and their friends from all classes who wish to attend should call Elberta Scott at 330-792-0478 by Monday or Dolores Brindle at 330-757-9368. Committee members and others follow: from left in front are Marilyn Sweeney, Flo Johnson and Jean Judy; and in back are Dale Beckman, Jack Kennedy, Jean Cole, Brindle, Ken Johnson and Chuck Whitman.
