SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Fourth-grade students at Dobbins Elementary School in Poland recently enjoyed celebrating Pioneer Day, a traditional event for students in that grade. The children dressed as pioneers and participated in many interesting activities throughout the day, such as crafts, games and bread- and butter-making. They learned about pioneers through imitating their daily life. In addition, they performed a square dancing routine for their families. Some of the participants were, from left to right, Alyssa Rapp, Sydney Ohlin, Eliyah Sanchez, Julia Ranno and Hope Sines.
