Copeland Oaks of Sebring 11th annual golf outing took place recently at Salem Golf Club. This year $22,000 was raised in support of Copeland Care Fund, which provides financial assistance to residents whose income is no longer adequate to cover the costs of their health care, prescriptions or daily living expenses. A Putt Fore Cash competition was added and was sponsored by Williams and Case Insurance Agency. On the right is Phil Braisted, Copeland Oaks executive director, presenting the envelope to Derek Gordon, a city of Canton employee, who won the Putt Fore Cash contest.

A worker sets up construction barrels along U.S. Route 224 and Hillside Drive in Canfield on Tuesday. The Ohio Department of Transportation will be resurfacing the road along 224 to Talsman Drive. The project should end in late October.
