SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR
President Abraham Lincoln, aka Jim Crouse, and trolley driver Norm Casto welcome passengers to learn about Salem’s history. As part of Family Fall Fun Day, the Quakertown Trolley will transport visitors on tours past homes that were part of the Underground Railroad. The Salem Historical Society is arranging the tours, scheduled for 10 a.m. and noon Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The cost for each 75-minute excursion is $10 per person. Reservations are encouraged; call 330-337-6733 and leave a message on the reservation line.
