SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: St. Michael Church in Canfield will host its 11th annual scholarship auction Nov. 2 at the parish Family Life Center, 350 N. Broad St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the cost is $10 per person, for 18 years and older only. County Fair is this year’s theme, and the auction will feature several varieties of chili. An assortment of auction items will be available for bidding including homemade pies and other desserts. The scholarship auction has raised more than $150,000 to benefit 120 graduating high school seniors in the parish. Members of the scholarship committee are, from left, Chuck Wirtz, Ron Roman, Cheryl Brady, Mark Whiteleather, Catherine Karlock, Karen Kalosky, Traci DeCapua and Judy Palermo.
