The Hispanic American Civic and Cultural Organization awarded college scholarships totaling $15,000 to 29 Hispanic students at a recent gala at The Georgetown in Boardman. The event, Changing Lives Through Education, also celebrated OCCHA’S 41 years of service to the community, and more than 300 attended.
