SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Local members of American Contract Bridge League Unit 111 recently garnered rankings in the annual district masterpoint competition and were recognized at a Unit Game and Party at Southside Bridge Club in Youngstown. In front, from left, are Mike Powers, category 5-20; Sue Querin, category 0-5; and June Drennen, category 5-20; in back are Robert Kramer, category 50-100; and Elizabeth Goldthwait, category 5-20. The district comprises players in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland. Players participated in local games as well as sectional, regional and national tournaments to accrue masterpoints by winning in duplicate bridge events.
