SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Youngstown Area Weavers Guild featured a workshop May 9 at the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Members furnished 20 hand-woven tote bags and baskets, which they filled with personal items for Christina House, a domestic violence shelter in Lisbon, for Mother’s Day. The two teams met for a “tune-up” before each heads off to state semifinals play in Columbus.
