SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR A team from the Americorps National Civilian Community Corps arrived in Youngstown in May to help the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation with revitalization projects for seven weeks. The projects include community garden, vacant lot and home-painting projects. Above, volunteers from Americorps NCCC Maple 6 Class XIX help the Iron Soup Historical Preservation Co. to clean up at Youngstown Sheet & Tube homes in Campbell. They edged the sidewalks June 1 at the endangered national historical site.
