Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the organization at its Annual Summer Garden Party on July 26. A cocktail hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 7:30 at the gardens, in Mill Creek Park. The committee members, in front from left, are Deby Clark, Dolly Vivalo, Debbie Reiner and April Stanislaw; and in back are David Armstrong, chef of Cater 2U, and Lori Shandon, Paul Hagman, Jack Fergus and Jim Economus of Saratoga Catering. Tickets for the event are $125 for individual reserved seating and $70 for unreserved seating. Call 330-740-7116 for tickets.

Jeannie Arnoto of Salem holds Butters, a rescue dog at HSCC. Arnoto has 
created a CD to raise funds for HSCC.  “Jeannie’s R.O.C.C. 
and Rescue — Paws and Salute” is the title of the CD, which contains 10 patriotic
songs and costs $10. She 
previously earned more than $800 for HSCC from sales of an earlier CD. The CD can be 
purchased at the HSCC ROCC center at 1825 S. Lincoln Ave., Salem; Bo’s Pet Shoppe in Columbiana; the Bye and 
Bye Hardware and the 
Chef’s Table in Lisbon; and 
UPS stores in Salem and Alliance; or by calling 
Arnoto at 330-398-8850.

The American Cancer Society is the recent recipient of a $30,000 donation from Home Savings Charitable Foundation. The donation will be used for cancer research to help reduce cancer incidence and death.
