SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR St. Patrick School in Hubbard had its annual luncheon for seventh- and eighth-grade students. The luncheon is a tradition for students, who are treated to a catered lunch and an ice cream bar. The students socialize, sign yearbooks and have a Bequeaths ceremony. The graduating class leaves seventh-graders with words of wisdom and small tokens ranging from items in their lockers to thoughtful gifts for friends. Helen Bond, a single mother of two, recently was diagnosed with acute renal failure. Family members and friends are planning a benefit dinner for Aug. 11 at the Holy Rosary Educational Center in Lowellville.
