Slow and steady is the pace as parts of the steeple, the spire and lantern are moved by a crane from the roof of First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown, to the ground Tuesday. The spire will be stored, but the lantern and louvre, the wooden structure remaining on the church roof, will be demolished because they are beyond repair.
