SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR In honor of the first National Girl Scout Cookie Day Feb. 8, Harlem Globetrotters female star Fatima “TNT” Maddox is pictured with Girl Scout Troop 80691 of New Middletown. Maddox joined the Globetrotters last year to become the first female player in almost 20 years. Maddox met the Girl Scout Troop at a private meet and greet before the recent Globetrotters game at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. In honor of the Cookie Day, Maddox and teammates, Tammy “T-Time” Maddox and Ariel “Mighty” Mitchell joined forces with their local hometown Girl Scout councils and registered as adult Girl Scouts of the U.S.
