The Mahoning Valley Wall of Honor is a portable memorial recognizing local service members killed in action during the Vietnam War and Iraq/Afghanistan wars. The name, year of birth and year of casualty is printed on a bronze plate to honor each soldier from Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. It will be on display through Feb. 15 at the Niles S.C.O.P.E. Center, 14 E. State St. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Donations may be made at the visit so another wall can be built acknowledging local soldiers killed in action in the Korean War and World War II. American Legion Howland Post 700 is the sponsor.
