SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The American Legion Lake Post 737 recently hosted a Toys-for-Tots event in the form of a special party. The Ladies Auxiliary volunteered for the day, preparing food and desserts in the kitchen. Different bands played hourly, spurring many in the crowd to dance. Door prizes, a 50-50 raffle and basket auction made for a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Sgt. Timothy Taylor and Pfc. Jachberg Strom attended the festivities. The Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion, the Auxiliary and Legion Riders presented the Marines with a check for more than $1,200.
