SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR: Salem Historical Society, using the Quakertown Trolley, will offer trolley tours of Salem’s Underground Railroad homes. Preparing to welcome passengers aboard the trolley are Norm Casto, trolley driver, and Jeanne Martinelli, docent of Salem Historical Society’s Freedom Hall and the show presenter. Tours are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. and noon Aug. 10. Tours will last about 75 minutes and will cost $10 per person. Reservations are encouraged by calling 330-337-6733 and leaving a message. After the tour, passengers can view the Freedom Hall for an additional $2 per person.
